How to join in 10 easy steps...
Members of the Mineral Deposits Division (MDD) shall be members in good standing of the Geological Association of Canada (GAC) and memberships to the MDD is therefore obtained through the GAC website
here. With a GAC membership, MDD is
FREE to students
and only an extra CA$ 15 for other GAC membership categories.
STEP 1: Visit GAC's website
here and click the "MEMBERS" tab.
STEP 2: Click on "Join/Renew".
STEP 3: Click "Start Application" (note that a paper application is also available for download).
STEP 4: Pick your member category.
STEP 5: Complete page one of the GAC application form and click "next" at the bottom of the page.
STEP 6: Complete page two of the GAC application form and
ensure you ticked off the box in front of "Mineral Deposits".
STEP 7: Complete page three of the GAC application form and click "Add to cart" at the bottom of the page.
STEP 8: Double-check your application and click "proceed to checkout".
STEP 9: Complete the billing details and click "Continue to payment".
STEP 10: Click "Place order" and provide your credit card details followed by clicking "Pay". Check your email for a receipt.
